About Dr. Musselman
Dr. Meghan Musselman is a Harvard-trained, board-certified forensic psychiatrist. Dr. Musselman’s experience includes psychiatric consultation, record review, forensic psychiatric evaluations, forensic report writing and expert testimony in civil and criminal matters.
In addition to her role as a forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Musselman has a robust clinical practice as an attending inpatient psychiatrist at Temple University Hospital’s Episcopal Campus. She is an active teacher in her role as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and as Associate Program Director for Temple University Hospital psychiatry residency training program. She has written book chapters, published articles and presents nationally on forensic topics.

Psychiatric Evaluations
Dr. Musselman performs evaluations for a variety of criminal and civil matters, including competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, testamentary capacity, and independent medical examinations. Dr. Musselman has expertise in evaluating individuals for malingering as well as special populations, including sovereign citizens and extremist group members.
Expert Testimony
In addition to performing thorough evaluations and writing detailed reports, Dr. Musselman provides effective expert testimony in court. Dr. Musselman has testified in court multiple times, and in her role as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, Dr. Musselman teaches effective expert testimony to psychiatry residents through a mock trial workshop series.
Litigation Consultant
As a consultant expert, Dr. Musselman can review medical records to evaluate merit of a case. She can also help prepare both litigators and expert witnesses for direct and cross-examination and can provide a critical evaluation of an opposing expert’s report or testimony.
